Oath To Imagination
Be the sun the coldest thing I know,
Be dark and opaque, the sky I see,
Be everything in this world I know,
Wrong as wrong can be.
Its time to feel the world,
Its time to see,
The world in a different way,
Which one calls imaginary.
Not everything is as it seems,
The truth behind it lies,
And should you wish to grasp it,
Please don’t open your eyes.
Imagination is a gift to you,
Only if you agree,
That everything you ever know,
Is wrong as wrong can be.
Your mind remains chained up,
With lots of different things,
Like the ‘truth’, ‘fact’, ‘science’,
That life inevitably brings,
Break these chains yourself,
Grant your mind wings,
So that it gracefully soars,
And so joyously sings.
Be sure to record these songs,
As they prove your theory,
That everything you ever know,
Is wrong as wrong can be.
Every fact is not a fact,
And every truth untrue,
Every cold thing is ever hot,
And every red one blue.
With every such decision,
With every such revelation,
Behold, you are blessed with,
The key of imagination.
The only question now remains,
Is can you really use this key?
Only if everything you ever know,
Is wrong as wrong can be.
Know the best,
Imagine the rest!
